  Annual Scientific Meeting 2008          
 
 Our Dinner Gala was held at the prestigious Cipriani Wall Street.  With the help of CAIPA who co-sponsored the dinner with 120 seats, we were able to fulfill our commitment of the guaranteed number of 400 guests.  The logos of CAMS and of CAIPA were very impressively projected on the top of the columns.

Dr. Johnny Lee turned out to be a very professional MC.  And Dr. Danny Fong, the Dinner Gala Chairman, was incredibly good as the auctioneer for our live auction.  The two of them working as a team, pushing, clowning, and entertaining the crowd.

At the Gala, the CAMS Scientific Award plaque was given to Dr. T. C. Wu by our past-President Dr. Pak Chung, and the Community Service Award plaque to Dr. Pauline Chen by President Wilson Ko.

The auction sold all the items on stage with proceeds of $12,850 (net $12,194) for the CAMS Educational Fund.
