CAMS 62ND ANNIVERSARY SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE

OPTIMIZING CHINESE AMERICAN HEALTHCARE IN AN AI-DRIVEN WORLD

The development of increasingly powerful artificial intelligence (AI) applications has the potential to transform  health care.   While AI interventions have not yet been studied specifically for the complex challenges faced by Chinese American individuals seeking clinical care, the rapid advances in the field have created knowledge and competence gaps and provided glimpses of what AI based care could look like in the future.   The goal of this conference is to illustrate the potential for AI to improve clinical care for Chinese American, and all patients, and what needs to be done to further develop AI for medical care.    By surveying the concepts and applications of AI across various medical specialties and health care settings, this conference aims to provide a framework for evaluating AI in patient care, and help meet the needs of different communities.
