  • There is no fee for students (CAMS Members or Non-CAMS Members) to attend this meeting. Non-CAMS Members may be asked for verification from their school.

Past, Present, Future: Healthcare of the Chinese in America

Conference Objectives

  • Review recent advances in medical and surgical fields.
  • Summarize challenges facing medical & surgical fields.
  • Describe the effects of these changes on the care of the Chinese patients.

  • Examine how recent advances have been incorporated into guidelines and best practices.
  • Analyze the risks and benefits of new advances for patient care.

  • Identify and refer patients who can benefit from recent advances in medical and surgical fields.
  • Identify patients who are vulnerable to challenges caused by current changes.
  • Modify practice to accommodate new advances. 
  • Educate staff and patients about advances in a culturally competent manner.
